Technical Cost Analyst (M/F/D)
Company description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced technical cost analyst (m/f/d) in the field of rail interiors who shares our passion for quality and innovation.In this key position, you will be responsible for preparing cost calculations for projects and optimizing material and manufacturing costs to ensure that we continue to deliver first-class solutions for our international customers in the railway industry.
Your tasks
- Preparation of detailed cost calculations for projects in metal processing (project business)
- Analysis and evaluation of customer inquiries as well as technical feasibility checks in collaboration with specialized departments
- Determination of material and manufacturing costs based on drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
- Procurement and evaluation of quotations from suppliers and service providers in cooperation with strategic purchasing
- Collaboration with sales, project management, and production to create optimal proposals
- Support with technical clarifications and development of alternative suggestions
- Post-calculation of completed projects to optimize future proposals
your profile
- Completed technical and/or commercial education, ideally with further training in metal processing or mechanical engineering
- Professional experience as a cost analyst or in a comparable position, preferably in the metal processing industry or project business
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications (including in English)
- Experience with costing software and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills, cost awareness, and a structured work approach
- Team-oriented, strong communication skills, and high self-initiative
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel

For this position, we offer an attractive full-time salary according to the collective agreement for the metal industry (minimum salary according to the collective agreement: €2,668.69). There is also the possibility of a higher salary depending on qualifications and professional experience!
