At the core of this revolutionary system, developed by Seisenbacher's R&D team, is the cantilever table. Integrated into an aluminum frame structure, it features a specialised crash element that dissipates impact energy through friction and damping. CATS sets new standards in rail safety and comfort.

CATS is a fully modular system, allowing for individual customisation of seating configurations. The tabletop is lightweight and not part of the crash system, allowing it to be tailored to customer preferences.

CATS complies with all applicable passenger safety standards, including the US APTA PR-CS-S-018-13 guideline.

Extensive simulations and laboratory tests have conclusively demonstrated that our patented CATS development effectively mitigates injury risk in all seating configurations, regardless of travel or seating direction. At the same time, the modular system allows for flexible seating area design to better accommodate the individual needs of passengers and customer preferences.
