Automotive Electrician / Mechatronics Technician – Vehicle Body Electrical Systems (M/F/D)

For our company, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Automotive Electrician / Mechatronics Technician – Vehicle Body Electrical Systems (m/f/d) who shares our passion for quality and innovation. In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical equipment and integration of commercial and special-purpose vehicles. From planning and installing vehicle electrical systems to integrating CAN bus controls, special equipment, and lighting systems, as well as commissioning and final testing, you will support the entire vehicle build process. With your technical expertise and attention to detail, you will make a significant contribution to delivering high-quality, safe, and reliable vehicle solutions.

• Planning, pre-assembling, and installing 12/24 V vehicle body electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, fuse boxes, and relay panels
• Connecting, configuring, and commissioning CAN bus body control systems and operator panels
• Creating and integrating the electrical interface between the vehicle body and chassis
• Installing and integrating warning systems, emergency lighting, work lights, and area illumination systems
• Installing power supply, battery maintenance, and charging systems
• Electrically integrating components such as pumps, winches, and level monitoring systems
• Troubleshooting, conducting electrical measurements, and performing final vehicle electrical testing
• Maintaining electrical schematics and wiring documentation

• Completed apprenticeship as an Automotive Electrician, Automotive Technician with a focus on Electrical Systems, Mechatronics Technician, or Electrical Technician (m/f/d)
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in vehicle or commercial vehicle electrical systems
• Confident in working with CAN bus systems, diagnostic software, and electrical schematics
• Experience with body control systems or warning and emergency lighting systems is an advantage
• High-voltage qualification (HV1/HV2) or willingness to undergo further training is an advantage
• Valid Category B driving licence; Category C licence is an advantage
• Systematic, accurate, and independent working style
• Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of quality awareness
• Team-oriented, reliable, and proactive approach to work

For this position, we offer an attractive full-time salary in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the Metalworking Industry (minimum salary €3.465,47). A willingness to offer a higher salary based on qualifications and professional experience is available!
